 I dream of becoming an…

Entrepreneur

I’m living it now by…

Participating in entrepreneurship projects that require me to take risks, be innovative and generate profits. A current project I’m working on is to start a business with a R100 and maximise profits to R1500 for charity.

I’m going to do it with…

By completing my Degree in Business Administration and Major in Entrepreneurship and Leadership at the Tertiary School in Business Administration (TSiBA).

I believe I am a leader and role model because…

I often lead by example and jump at the opportunity to serve, assist and motivate others to achieve their goals. I consider myself a leader and a role model because many have been inspired by the role I play in society and even my community; it is this very people who support my dream of becoming an entrepreneur and pledge their support in whatever I do. I recognise that being the good leader I am only comes from my ability to put those I lead ahead of me and not letting them feel inferior.

I believe I have a positive, ‘never give up’ attitude because…

Giving up is not an option. I live my daily life on the principle that challenges and obstacles make us stronger individuals. My positive attitude is a result of my optimism and ‘never give up’ attitude towards life and its challenges – a characteristic that sets me aside and makes me an entrepreneur that this country needs.

I believe the only way to success is through…

Recognizing your goals, putting a plan in place and acting upon it. Success is a journey and constantly needs one to stay focused, dedicated and flexible. We can only achieve success if we work hard and allow not just ourselves to grow but those around us as well.

I have overcome the following challenges…

Growing up in an area that discourages the youth. Lack of finances and role models in my surroundings.
