Preparing for a changing banking landscape
Milpark has revised its banking offerings to ensure that students acquire the skills to operate successfully in a fast-changing banking environment and a number of new offerings will be available from 2014.
The Higher Certificate in Banking Services (NQF level 5) aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills to operate successfully in a specific junior/entry role in banking services. Admission onto the programme can be attained with a National Senior Certificate certified by Umalusi.
The Advanced Certificate in Banking Services (NQF level 6) will provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to operate professionally in a more senior role in an organisation that promotes banking services. Admission can be attained with a Higher Certificate in Banking Services or an equivalent level 5 qualification.
Milpark’s Postgraduate Diploma in Banking (NQF level 8) will add value to the sector by recognising the broad range of expertise required to be successful in Banking with a non-banking related degree as a starting point. The minimum admission requirement is a relevant Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent degree, ideally with majors in Banking and/or Investment Management.
