It’s official – Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography is the top educational institution in the creative industry in South Africa. The news of the 2012 Official Loeries Rankings comes just as the Academy begins celebrating its tenth anniversary with this year’s graduate exhibition, GradEx 2012.
The anniversary celebrations include a special keynote address at the opening of GradEx 2012 by Jason Xenoupolos, CEO of Native, South Africa’s foremost creative digital agency and a special anniversary party at the Academy.
Academy Director, Barbara Fassler explains that the Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography has more to celebrate than just ten years in business: “We’re thrilled to have been officially recognised in this year’s Loeries Rankings. It’s a fitting close to a year which has seen the Academy become the most awarded school of visual communications, with two Gold and one Bronze Loeries for excellence in brand communications and the only Student Award at this year’s Eagle Print Awards.”
Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography’s GradEx 2012 opens on 28 November at 6.30pm and runs until 7 December.
