Education is needed to unlock the doors to success, this statement we all know and hear frequently!  Sometimes you think that it is not easy to succeed, most of you lose hope, you think that there is nothing that you can do after passing matric, you might even think that nothing is in your advantage – you are making a big mistake!

These feelings are mostly experienced by less fortunate people, caused by the lack of information available to them. I am also from a rural area called Atok, where most of the people are just earning to keep soul and body together, but that will not stop me from fighting for my success.

It is important to honour yourself, this will motivate you. In this day and age, everything is possible with the use of technology – this you have to use to your advantage to educate yourself. There are several ways to get funds to further your studies, you just need to go looking for them. Never think that you are not good enough!

Always tell yourself that you were never created to to live depressed, defeated or unworthy – you were created to be victorious. Face your obstacles heads, we were all placed on earth with the ability to succeed. Try to see opportunities instead of complaining about your current situation, go to school, pay attention in class and never give up hope!

Kabelo was this awarded the title of being the 2014 Future Star winner, he is currently in Grade 12, lives in a rural area in Limpopo but has applied to further his studies next year.
You too can rise above your situation!
