Business School Netherlands is once again preparing for the rush of applications as the Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP) scholarship gets underway on 1 March 2014 for the February 2015 intake.

The Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP) promotes capacity building within organisations in 50 countries by providing training and education through fellowships for professionals. The NFP is initiated and fully funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the budget for development cooperation. As a top Dutch business school, Business School Netherlands, in partnership with Nuffic, is excited to offer managers a chance at studying a Masters in Business Administration. Managers from Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Zambia, Uganda, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Kenya along with 43 other countries are invited to apply for this full scholarship before the deadline on 6 May 2014.

“Our mission is to provide high quality, relevant and affordable Dutch accredited MBA programmes to enhance leadership and management development throughout the world,” said Dr Dick Gerdzen, founder of BSN. For some, this 30,000 EUR scholarship is equivalent to 10 years of salary, thus it makes for a good investment and is a wonderful opportunity for successful applicants to enrich themselves and develop their country.

NFP selected applicants will receive a full (100%) MBA scholarship that covers the total cost of tuition fees, accommodation and international travel for study as long as they meet the entry requirements set out by the business school. Priorities are given to women and applicants who live and work in sub-Saharan Africa. The International Action Learning MBA® (IALMBA) is a part-time, distance learning programme that embraces the philosophy of Action Learning; a method that is highly praised for its practical, results-orientated approach to problem solving. These requirements entail applicants to hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification), to live and work in one of the 50 NPF countries, be currently employed in a manager or management trainee position with at least three years appropriate postgraduate work experience. Furthermore, approval from the applicant’s organisation to do research and execute assignments within the work environment is also required.
