A student in Emergency Medical Care must register with the Professional Board for Emergency Care Personnel in terms of the rules and regulations of the Medical, Dental and Supplementary Health Services Professions Act (Act 56 of 1974) and the subsequent amendments pertaining to emergency care personnel, as approved. Experiential training will be done at approved units identified by the Central University of Technology, Free State and the Professional Board for Emergency Care Personnel.
