Graduates are qualified for professional registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as an Emergency Care Practitioner (Paramedic). Students are equipped to become competent in providing pre-hospital emergency care to the critically ill or injured patient. They receive training in basic, intermediate and advanced techniques in order to provide advanced life support.
