This diploma equips students to participate in the planning, design and management of civil engineering projects through a combination of theoretical knowledge and work integrated learning. Before students can qualify, they must spend at least 12 months gaining experience in a workplace environment in planning, design, contracts and construction, under the supervision of a professional engineer registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa.
