COURSE: JOURNALISM FOR PRINT AND DIGITAL MEDIA

This one-year Certificate programme is designed to equip future journalists with the practical skills required for a career in the fast-paced world of journalism, be it in print, broadcast or electronic media. Students learn practical applications for use in newspapers, magazines, radio, Internet and corporate communications. Students interact with industry professionals and, where available, short internships are arranged at broadcast and print organizations. The inclusion of Creative Writing means there is no other Journalism course like it!

With this certificate, you'll be equipped to work as a print journalist for magazine, newspaper and online publications, or as a broadcast journalist for TV news, radio and film or video documentaries. Graduates will be able to write for a number of lifestyle and special interest publications.
