The Diploma in Drama and Theatre Arts is market-related and outcomes-based. Diploma students are trained for a career as junior professional actor; junior theatre technician within the school environment or the community; cultural worker within the community; tutor of drama and theatre in a private studio or school.

- Technical theatre: décor, props, sound and lighting
- Fantasy and children’s theatre

- Neo-classical and romantic theatre
- Realistic theatre
