Primary Health Care, Comprehensive Health Care Nursing, Promotion of Family Health, Contemporary Nursing Practice, Introduction to Psychology, Child and Adolescent Development, Introduction to Sociology, Nursing Management.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR CURRENT GRADE 12 LEARNERS

  • Minimum statutory NSC requirements for diploma entry must be met.
  • Must be registered with the South African Nursing Council as a General Nurse.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS WHO MATRICULATED PRIOR TO 2008

Candidates must have full or conditional matriculation exemption, or a senior certificate, school leaving certificate or equivalent qualification.  They must be registered with the South African Nursing Council as a registered nurse.

DURATION
The qualification shall extend over one year of full-time or two years of part-time study.
