The purpose of this qualification is to provide the learner with ceramic manufacturing skills to enable him/her to enter into a craft production career. Projects are industry-based and students are given an opportunity to job-shadow and to do in-house training. The culmination of the course is the student’s portfolio of work, which provides the learner access into the ceramics manufacture work place.
