Oceanographic technologists form an integral part of any oceanographic research team. The course equips students with the skills and knowledge to provide the technical and logistical support that is vital for the efficient running of research programmes, including the collection and processing of a wide variety of data both at sea and on land. A National Diploma in Oceanography (or an equivalent qualification) is required for admission.
