The course produces competent technologists capable of decision-making at an intellectual level requiring mature judgement. Graduates are able to conceive, identify and optimise technical solutions for the design and production of food products. A National Diploma in Food Technology (or equivalent qualification) is required and an average of 60% in the final year of the National Diploma is recommended for admission.

Duration: 1 year full time after obtaining national diploma / 2 years part time after national diploma
