This specialised degree is aimed at students who want to use their mathematical and statistical knowledge to solve problems in environmental evaluation, population, spatial structures, and interpretation of aerial photographs. For this reason, in addition to the mathematical and statistical components of the programme, it introduces students to fields such as geography, map and aerial photography interpretation, the geography of basic service provision and environmental evaluation and impact assessment.
