Individuals with this qualification are very well equipped for being employed by industries involved with the manufacturing or developing of food products (dairy, meant, fruit, grain and vegetables). They will also be capable of microbial analyses to determine whether the food is safe for consumption. They will be especially equipped in the development and running of a variety of biotechnological processes or in the line of quality assurance and food production.
