Mechatronic engineers develop and construct machines and systems that use modern control systems for greater adaptability, better work performance, and/or lower costs. Mechatronic systems strive to reach the optimal combination of mechanical, electrical and electronic subsystems by integration of e.g. machine parts, sensors and actuators. These mechanisms are controlled by computer systems to create products and systems that are useful to mankind and society.
