Boston offers a full-time and part-time programme for students wishing to complete their CTA Honours degree. Our highly qualified lecturers have compiled extensive notes for each module to enrich your knowledge and understanding of the course.

The BCompt degree is specially geared towards students who wish to qualify as a Chartered Accountant. There are various other Financial and Auditing qualifications available to students.

To qualify as a Chartered Accountant the following steps need to be taken:

• Complete a BCompt Degree


• Complete an Honours BCompt Degree


• Complete a minimum of three years articles of clerkship under the auspices of a recognised accounting firm or commercial partner.


• Pass the Accounting Board Examinations.

• TOE407V (Applied Financial Accounting) 


• TOE408W (Applied Management Accounting) 


• TOE409X (Applied Taxation) 


• TOE412S (Applied Auditing)

Branches:

 Bedfordview Branch: Full-time & Part-time in English (situated at 101 Van Buuren Road, at The Virgin Active, Bedfordview)

The Full-time Programme runs Monday - Thursday, mainly in the mornings. This includes lectures and tutorials for approximately 15 hours per week

The Part-time Programme runs three evenings a week between Monday and Thursday, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
