Being a teenager makes you realise that the world is your oyster. In the deepest despairs of your studies, the only thing that keeps you going is the promise that out there, on the other side of your degree, your dream job awaits you.
Sorry to break it to you Sunshine, but that is not the case – your dream job does not exist, you have to create it. You have all the tools that you need to start a business and succeed. Today, a person with a laptop and an internet connection can change the world; this is one of the greatest of times to be alive!
You need to take charge of your destiny. Realise this: If you do not build your dreams, someone else will hire you to build theirs. Just read up on legendary young people; Farrah Gray, Ludwick Marishane and Siya Xuza – You will realise that you cannot make history by spending the best years of your life executing another person’s vision. Your greatest hustle needs to be directed towards your own business ideas.
You’re probably thinking “I’ll just wait until I get my degree then start a business”.
That’s the problem right there, you think you have time. Why wait until you fit in to try and fight in order to stand out? Now is the time to go into business. You know that gap between your dreams and reality? It is on you to eliminate it ASAP.
Never forget this: The world stands on its feet when young people do remarkable things. Now be so great that the world has no choice but to give you an audience.
