This programme has been custom-designed for the South African pulp and paper industry, hence its blend of technical, management, mathematical, computer and chemical engineering components. It consists of theoretical and practical training, including 12 months of experiential learning in a pulp and paper mill or factory. Students should note that the theoretical modules focus strongly on physics, mathematics and chemical engineering.
