This programme trains you for a career in the management of human resources in organisations. By completing a BCommHons (Psych) in addition to the BComm (Psych), by doing a six-month internship and passing the professional board’s examination, you qualify for statutory registration by the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Psychometrist. You can qualify for statutory registration as “Industrial Psychologist” by the HPCSA by doing further postgraduate studies in Industrial Psychology, an internship of twelve months and sitting successfully for the professional board’s examination for industrial psychologists.
