The course equips students with the techniques and methods to enable them to apply theoretical knowledge of advanced taxation principles in practical situations. Students study income tax, VAT, estate duty, donations, capital gains, court cases, and the practice notes and regulations of the SA Revenue Service. A National Diploma (or equivalent qualification) in accounting or taxation is required for admission.
