The Pre-University College is a University of Cambridge International Examinations Centre which offers IGCSE, AS and A Level Courses.

University of Cambridge International A Level qualifications are recognised worldwide and the international examinations are offered in over 150 countries. This enables students to continue with their studies uninterrupted when relocating to other countries.

The curriculum is also ideally suited to students wishing to attain a valid NSC Exemption for University Entrance as well as a fully recognized international qualification that will give access to institutions of Higher Education throughout the world.

Students from as many as 20 countries have completed their Cambridge A Level studies in our centre. Many of these students have qualified for Matriculation exemption which has enabled them to complete their studies either at South African Universities or abroad. Some of our past students who have achieved good grades in full A levels have been awarded advanced credits in certain courses at Universities in South Africa and The United States of America. This has resulted in them being given exemption from the first year of study.

The centre encourages academic excellence in a structured environment with a strict dress code.

Our curriculum includes a series of Special Interest Lectures delivered by experts in their fields. Students are encouraged to take part in the President’s Award program that focuses on self-development.

• Provide young people with skills essential to enable them to cope with tertiary studies. There is a particular emphasis on enhancing Mathematics, Science, Language and Business skills.


• Provide an education to broaden  the educational experiences of each student.


• Provide an excellent affordable education. Fees are kept as low as possible without affecting the quality of the product provided.
