COURSE: BCOM IN MANAGEMENT

The business environment in South Africa is complex, dynamic and fast-changing, necessitating the need for managers to acquire sophisticated management skills to compete in local and global markets. These skills involve the efficient and effective use of resources to achieve organisational objectives. The BCom with specialisation in Management was developed to prepare managers for the challenging task of contemporary management by teaching them the classic as well as the most recent and relevant theoretical and practical management skills.

• Introduction to entrepreneurship and small-business management


• Real estate


• E-commerce in business

Third year subjects:

• Strategic management

Careers: general manager, operations manager, financial manager, human resource manager, labour relations manager, production manager.
