There is a very big need for our students to be well equipped in the work force. We as Cool Campus took it upon ourselves to go to two companies that can help young people with this. As Oliver Tambo put it “A nation that does not invest in its youth does not invest in its future”. We went to the SA army because we believe in the discipline that they teach and we believe it will help with life skills in life as a whole. We also looked into Boxer superstores; they have a great program that can help young people have the beneficial skills of communication and team work.
I asked SA army about their program and this is what they said,” The SA Army, through its Military Skills Development System (MSDS) is offering young South African citizens an opportunity to serve in uniform over a two-year period. The Military Skills Development System is a two-year voluntary service system with the long term goal of enhancing the SA National Defense Force’s deployment capability.”
