The Institution has built up over the years a series of relationships with its own group of companies and partnerships with a range of Employers/Businesses (given the Group Chief Executive Officer’s background as a Senior National Financial Manager of the Tongaat-Hullett Corporation and his career as a Registered Public Accountant). The Institution maintains various direct and indirect contacts with Commerce and Industry as well as International parties. For example, the CEO who is also a Registered Commercial and Financial Accountant serves as an Education Provider Advisor on Pinnacle Micro SA’s National Executive Consultative Forum. This years engagement included direct involvement with Regional Managers, CEO’s and other Professionals from ICT companies such as, Microsoft, MSI, Intel, D-Link amongst others.

The Corporation is headed up by a Group Chief Executive Officer, who is closely assisted by a Deputy Chief Executive Officer responsible for Academic and Quality Assurance, who was also hugely successful in co-coordinating the entire Group and its systems and processes being accredited by the International SABS ISO 9001:2000 Standard for all its Campuses and Head Office. The Institution is a great believer in the deployment of specialist teams and work groups. An external Advisory, Research and Quality Assurance Board consisting of representatives from Industry, the Accounting Profession, the Legal Profession as well as Public Providers and Researchers provides direction with regards to Academic Content, Quality Assurance and Research. In addition members of these boards are divided into forums of specialisation in the fields of institutional Governance, ICT, Business Studies, Tourism & Leisure Management.
