COURSE: NATURAL & HOLISTIC THERAPIES

THIRD YEAR SYLLABUS

Course Objective:

Camelot has developed this programme incorporating aspects of Holistic, Natural Therapies, Spa Therapies and a number of treatment trends required in the sophisticated Spa industry.  It was designed to accommodate a third year of training as well as to offer therapists the opportunity to upgrade their formal qualifications in order to work within the Spa Therapy industry. International Membership Registration Examinations and National recognised Diplomas are offered.

•     Applied Client Service and Retail III

2.   Spa Therapies:

•      Bali Spa Treatments


•      Hawaiian Massage


•      Hot Stone Massage


•      Eastern Herbal Massage


•      Spa wraps


•      Phyto- and Hydrotherapy


•      ThalassoTherapy


•      Product House Training


•      The latest trends and developments in the Medi-spa industry; such as:


•            - Advanced Skin Analysis Techniques


•                    - IPL and Laser


•                    - Mesotherapy


•            - Microdermabrasion and Advanced Skin Peeling Treatments

Spa Management and Spa Therapies are compulsory subjects. Learners are to select a minimum of four (4)

subjects from the list below:

•      Iridology


•      Manual Lymph Drainage


•      Shiatsu & Meridian Therapies


•      Sports Massage


•      Therapeutic Reflexology II


•      Therapeutic Aromatherapy II


•      Thai massage

 

On completion of the third year Camelot International Diploma learners will be awarded the:

•   Camelot International Diploma in Holistic and Natural Therapies


•   Camelot International Diploma in Therapeutic Aromatherapy


•   Camelot International Diploma in Therapeutic Reflexology

 

On completion of the third year programme learners may apply for International recognition by completing the following Membership Registration Examinations (MRE):

•   CIDESCO Spa Therapy Diploma


•   SAAHSP Spa Therapy Diploma


•   CIBTAC Sports Massage Diploma


•   CIBTAC Hot Stone Therapy Diploma
