The purpose of this qualifi cation is to provide the learner with jewellery manufacturing skills to enable him/her to enter into a jewellery manufacture career. Projects are industry-based and students are given an opportunity to job-shadow and to do in-house training. The culmination of the course is the student’s portfolio of work, which provides the learner access into the jewellery manufacture work place.
