INTRODUCTION


The programme provides students with the knowledge and skills needed for a career in marketing. This course is presented at the George Campus.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
(Please note that these are the specific programme admission requirements - the university has its own minimum admission requirements.)




A prospective student will be considered for admission to B Tech if he/she is in possession of a National Diploma: Marketing or equivalent qualification, or has been granted status in accordance with NMMU regulations.

A prospective B Tech student will have to obtain a minimum of 60% average for all his or her major third-year modules.

RE-ADMISSION CRITERIA
Students must pass at least 50% of modules enrolled for. The re-admission of students is, in addition to the above, subject to the regulations governing the maximum duration of study as published in the General Prospectus of the NMMU.

DURATION
The qualification shall extend over one year of full-time or two years of part- time study.
